3070 furmark8/23/2023 ![]() The stress testing with Furmark or Kombustor is for literally maxing the card out and pushing it to it's limits. You should be monitoring the card while doing stuff within your actually use case like while gaming or whatever it is you will be using the card for. It is an actual up to date GPU stress testing program that has more accurate readings. The application that has replaced Furmark is MSI Kombustor. When running a stress test of that nature it's going to max out your usage and cooling, also due to it's age it can have slightly funky results with newer cards. As long as it is less than 85c you're golden as for the rest it's just one of the many reasons Furmark isn't recommended anymore. That is your total temp of all the sensors and the one that should be monitored. ![]() The one you need to watch out for is the one labeled GPU Temperature. Minor bugfixes in the submit score Furmark score RTX 3070 : r/RTX3070. In games it was the same, fans at 100% and throttling badly. FurMark is an intensive OpenGL-based GPU stress test. GPU Clock 1500 but in Control i saw even 1390 My only consern is that my system has some fault and i will only pay for shipping and testing and 2-4 weeks without card. After new year i will send it to RMA but for now i have what i have and maybe it is fixable. The question is how could it happen during shipping (packing was perfect) or maybe its something with my system like bad motherboard mounting or something. The only way for now to GPU works as it should is to suspend it on zip tie and do a UV. Bending GPU in slot solves my problem but not at 100%. I pushed power cables with side panel when i was closing it and GPU bended up a little. But when i was closing the case with Furmark Running sudenly i heard silence, GPU works fine for a moment. FurMark - Recent submissions Radeon RX 570 Series, FurMark (P1080), 1920x1080 GeForce 9300 GE/PCI/SSE2, FurMark (P720), 1280x720 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/PCIe. I was devastated, "new" card and already warrantly. I was taking in and out this GPU from PC many times trying to change mounting tension or something but nothing seems to work. When i got everything installed and want to test is everything was throttling almost instantly (pic Furmark 3070 day 1). When i got it was packed very well and was left on desk for 2 more days because it is cold outside and I was waiting for new PSU and monitor. It has warrantly (08.2023 was on auction and 07.2024 on ASUS page), there was screens from Furmark showing how it works and even a video. So temps or power are not the issue.English is not my native language but I will try to describe everything as best as i can. Even tried with GPU OC and hitting 88 degrees C. P.S I am talking of running those other games unlocked. I have plenty of time today and will test if I can get the error to not happen with Vsynch off after removing and plugging in cables and with an HDMI connection. Had to change from my previous 650 W psu because I thought it was dying but then it turned out to be the motherboard that died so I bought this new psu needlessly ouch That is why I am confident it is not the GPU or the PSU. I have tested my GPU in other games like Eleden Ring and Guardians of the Galaxy for hours at a time since I started getting this crash in COH2. Thank you for your reply but it really does seem to be Vsync related and either the newest drivers or my cable or monitor. You can also test the PSU issue by downloading MSI afterburner, set the power limit % to 50% from the stock 100% and max all of the game's settings in the game, in theory it shouldn't crash but it still can based on how bad the issue is.Īlso do not daisy chain the GPU power cables if possible. Try playing a very demanding game that puts 100% stress on your GPU to see if you get the black screen issue. Lowering your settings and or using Vsync will put less stress on your GPU which also pulls less voltage from your PSU, if this is preventing the black screen issue, it could be a PSU issue, they do go bad over time, or a driver issue.
